PROPOSAL OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION NETWORK ON THE BELGRADE-NOVI SAD-SUBOTICA RAILWAY
Abstract
To increase the efficiency of the Serbian Railway Infrastructure in modern conditions, it is necessary to use modern information and communication systems, which provide access and exchange of business information from anywhere at any time. Bearing in mind that the modernization of the railway is a long process, it is necessary to take into account the technical and technological development and adoption of modern information and communication systems that greatly affect the provision of necessary services characteristic of modern railways. It is necessary to plan modern and proven systems that are primarily designed for application in railway telecommunications networks and based on new technologies and platforms, while enabling integration with existing systems where necessary. Taking into account the necessary capacities in the transport network, which is a platform for individual subsystems, a solution can be found for the information - communication network of the railway based on MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) technology, on high - speed lines.
