Abstract

Potential future freight railway carrier who wants to activate and start business on the rail transport market, in addition to the capital necessary for the purchase of appropriate means of work, must know the procedure for obtaining appropriate certificates and licenses for transport services on the railway network infrastructure. Often, the procedure can be complicated and difficult to understand, which often leads to an unnecessary prolongation of the certification process, a waste of time and a delay in starting the transport service. The aim of this paper is to explain in more detail the procedure for obtaining such a certificate, as well as to explain certain steps through the analysis of the Law and bylaws that cover this area of the economy.
