The aim of this study is the assessment of provisions number on industry tracks in intermodal terminal. When total transportation costs are to be calculated, the fee for the provision on industry track in intermodal terminal is taken as the average of tariffs. This price does not cover the manipulation costs on each individual track, it is determined on the basis of planned scope of work on the observed track. In this study, the charges for the provision on industry track, wagons waiting time on dispatch, as well as the trains forming and dismantling time required are calculated. In the study it has been demonstrated that increasing the number of daily provisions leads to reduction of cars retaining time costs, leading to increase of total (locomotive and wagons) usage costs.
