Abstract

The high quality railway service in passenger transport implies harmonization of passenger requirements with the condition and possibilities of the railway operator. Often the railway’s offer does not adequately meet the requirements of the passengers. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the needs, attitudes and opinions of passengers through periodic surveys of passenger satisfaction. With the survey, passengers can express their views on the service offered, but also indicate which parts of the transport service can be improved. In this paper, we present a survey on a limited number of passengers in the Jablanica district, conducted for the needs of the thesis, and through its structure and analysis of results we want to indicate which parts of the railway passenger transport service are positively assessed and which should be improved.
