Abstract

Changes in tourism demand and global trends have led hoteliers and restaurateurs to tailor their offer to the new conditions. Inspirations have been sought in the past, present and future, so there are hotel trains, design hotels, capsule hotels, and the like, in order to meet the specific demand of new contemporary consumers and their individual needs. The paper presents one such response to global trends and changes in tourist demand - the supply of hotel trains, which have their past inspiration as an Orient Express.  In addition to showing the most famous hotel trains, performance indicators and the widely known concept - Blue Train and loud promotion of potential solutions for its commercial use.
