BOOK REVIEW ″BASICS OF PROGRAMMING, WITH SOLVED TASKS IN VISUAL BASIC″

Abstract

Teaching in the field of programming has been implemented in various forms for decades at the Faculty of Transportation, University of Belgrade. The book I want to present is the basic textbook for the subject Basics of Programming, which is mandatory for all modules of the first year of this faculty. I have been performing the exercises in this subject since school. 2014/15. In class, I used the earlier, and now this latest, 5th edition of the book. The book contains: Preface, Contents, 3 chapters, Literature, English-Serbian dictionary of professional terms, 2 appendices, Index of terms, Notes on authors. The volume of the book is 365 pages in B5 format. Within the text there are 148 figures and 13 tables.
